well, personally for me it is useless... 
1. you will still need to print out your boarding pass as a proof that you actually have flied... 
2. what if your cell phone can be broken or stolen... 
3. in the airport, at the stand of checking-in, there are machines that print out your Boarding Pass - all you need is your passport &amp; confirmation number for e-ticket...

The only &quot;real&quot; advantage is for a traveler who does not have easy access to a printer.  Otherwise making a paper copy or a downloaded pass will accomplish the same, wait on the TSA line for an agent to view the pass and ID.</description>
